G-Eye TV Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the G-Eye TV mobile application collects, uses, stores, and shares information based on the app’s current features and implementation.

Local Data

G-Eye TV stores data locally on your device for app functionality, including: Favorites and history information; Notification items saved in the app inbox; User preferences such as language selection and notification settings; Profile avatar image path when a user selects a photo from their device.

User-Provided Data

The app may collect data that you explicitly provide, such as: Your profile avatar image selected from the device gallery; Notification preferences and email notification opt-in settings; Search terms entered in the app.

Usage and Analytics Data

The app uses analytics to understand usage and improve performance. This includes: Screen views; Content and channel actions (for example, opening TV channels or radio stations); Search activity; Favorites activity.

Crash and Diagnostic Data

The app reports crash and error data to help improve stability and fix issues.

2. Third-Party Services Used

G-Eye TV uses the following third-party services: Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and push messaging setup. OneSignal for push notification delivery, opt-in/opt-out status, and notification subscription identifiers. Supabase to fetch content categories, channel data, and search results. Share Plus to share app links using other installed applications. URL Launcher to open external links such as app rating pages. WebView Flutter to display web content inside the app.

WebView Behavior

The in-app WebView blocks web pages from accessing camera, microphone, or other hardware permissions.

3. Permissions and Device Access

The app may request or use the following permissions: Notification permission to deliver push notifications through OneSignal. Photo library access to let users select a profile avatar image from the gallery. The app does not request camera or microphone access in its present code. It also does not request location access.

4. How We Use Data

G-Eye TV uses collected data for the following purposes: To enable core app features such as favorites, history, notifications, and profile settings. To improve app stability and diagnose crashes. To deliver push notifications and honor opt-in/opt-out settings. To fetch and display content from remote sources. To improve user experience through analytics and remote configuration.

5. User Control and Opt-Out

Users can manage the following in the app settings: Enable or disable app notifications. Enable or disable push notifications. Toggle email notification preference. Clear cached data and stored local history/favorites.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Local app data is stored on the user’s device. User-selected profile photos are saved to the app’s local documents directory. Third-party services may retain analytics, crash reports, and notification data according to their own service policies.

7. External Links and Third-Party Content

The app may open external websites or links. Those sites may collect data under their own privacy policies, which is separate from G-Eye TV’s policy.
